The September shipment is quickly approaching, and our team has been getting all your questions.

I’ve highlighted some common inquiries below.

Q. What wines are available this year?

A. For Iconic members, the standard 6-bottle shipment will include:

2 x 2023 Merlot
2 x 2023 Syrah
2 x 2023 Red Icon

For Skaha Six members, the standard 6-bottle shipment will include:

2 x 2023 Merlot
2 x 2023 Syrah
2 x 2025 Chardonnay

Q. Can I customize? When do I do that?

A. Yes! The customization window will be August 24th to August 31st, 2026*. You will receive an email inviting you and the customization can be done through your account. *Please note we are unable to facilitate customizations prior to this window.

Q. What wines will be available for customization?

A. A selection of member exclusive new releases and currently available wines.

2023 Malbec (member exclusive new release)
2022 Merlot
2023 Merlot (member exclusive new release)
2022 Red Icon 
2023 Red Icon (member exclusive new release)
2023 Cabernet Franc
2023 Cabernet Sauvignon

Q. Chardonnay?

A. The 2025 Chardonnay is sold out and unavailable for customization/additions. Skaha Six members will receive their 2-bottle allocation unless removed during customization.

Q. Rosé?

A. Due to limited quantities, the Rosé will not be available for club shipments.

Q. Why is 2023 Syrah not available to be added for customizations?

A. 2023 was a lighter than normal vintage. We have set aside 2 bottles for each wine club member and at this time cannot guarantee there will be any remaining.

If you would like to be added to a Syrah waitlist to be contacted after the club shipment should any inventory remain, please email me.

Q. What is happening with the 2024 vintage?

A. We did not make any red wine in 2024. We have staggered the releases of the 2023 wines to allow us to bridge the gap. We will release the 2025 vintage in fall 2027.

Q. What happens if I miss the customization deadline?

A. If you miss the customization window, your order will default to a standard shipment. 

Q. When will my wines be shipped?

A. Wine club shipments will be shipped in the last week of September. You will see an order be processed on your card on or after September 2nd. That wine will then be sent to our packing facility for preparation and shipping.

Q. I am travelling then, what do I do?

A. If you’re travelling at the end of September and will not be able to receive your delivery, please make a note when customizing your order with the date after which the wine can be sent.

Q. What if I need to change my mailing address, contact information, payment method, etc.?

A. This information can all be updated in your online account now. Please note your default shipping address in your account, as this is where your shipment will be sent without prior change.

Please ensure this information is up to date by August 31st, 2026, as we are unable to guarantee changes to your shipment after this time. If you’re having any difficulties updating this information, please email me and I’d be happy to make any changes needed on your behalf.

Q. I don’t want my wine shipped—I like to pick it up?

A. Perfect, we would love to see you!

Simply choose Pick Up – 400 Smythe Dr. under the address selection in your online account when customizing your order.

Club orders will be returned to us from the packing facility in time for our Pick-Up Party.

Please note orders cannot be picked up from the Winery prior to the Pick-Up Party on September 25th.

You are welcome to join us on September 25th between 3-7pm for our Pick-Up Party. RSVPs are required and can be sent to wineclub@paintedrock.ca. Please include the number of people attending at time of RSVP (each wine club member is welcome to bring one guest.)

If you cannot join us for our Pick-Up Party, please email  to arrange an alternate time for pickup. We will do our best to accommodate drop-ins for pickups during our operating hours, but please note drop-ins may be subject to a slight wait at the Winery as we locate your order.

Please note we unable to store wine club orders indefinitely, and any pick-up orders that do not have prior arrangements made may be shipped to you at your own expense.

Q. Is John doing tank/barrel tastings this year?

A. We do not have any wine in tank this year because of the missing 2024 red vintage. Instead, John will be hosting library tastings the week of August 17-22.

Please note the available times below:

– August 17th – 20th: 11 am and 3 pm.
– August 21st & 22nd: 11 am.

Please email me to arrange. Please note these tastings are limited to small groups, so please book now to avoid disappointment.
