2023 Chardonnay
2023 CHARDONNAY
WINE SPECS
Our 2023 Chardonnay is hand harvested from our single vineyard and is a blend of the three clones we grow. It was respectfully oaked, with 80% aged for 6 months in oak, 55% of new and 45% old. The remaining 20% was aged in stainless steel. 30% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation.
This process embraces the beautiful bright acidity while building mouthfeel, complexity and aromatics. Aromas of fresh citrus, stone fruit and melon are complemented by the subtle brioche and sea salt undertones. The palate is dry with lively acidity, tropical fruit flavours and pronounced minerality.
